In this project we are utilizing environmental DNA to monitor species communities and changes thereof in local river systems. The goal is to both assess the existing species diversity as well as evaluate new and ongoing restoration and conservation efforts. Additionally, the project aims to include communities in the monitoring efforts and thereby build local capacities.
